WWE Royal Rumble 2022 Foolproof Predictions: Brock Lesnar Will Squash Bobby Lashley

WWE Royal Rumble 2022 Predictions! The Royal Rumble is one of the most exciting PPVs of the year. When the clock runs down and the crowd chants ten to one, there is the invigorating anticipation of surprise returns coming out of that curtain. Although there are plenty of contrived storylines being built, there are some potential show-stealing matches on this card that will be thrilling to watch. The following will provide predictions for the six matches that are already scheduled. Without further ado, here are the foolproof predictions for WWE Royal Rumble 2022.

WWE Royal Rumble 2022 will take place on January 29, 2022, at 8 p.m. E.S.T., live on Peacock. Here are some foolproof predictions.

Women’s Royal Rumble [Over-The-Top Rope Battle Royal]

WWE already announced 22 participants for the Women’s Royal Rumble: Bianca Belair, Charlotte Flair, Liv Morgan, Nikki ASH, Rhea Ripley, Shayna Baszler, Naomi, Shotzi Blackheart, Natalya, Tamina, Dana Brooke, Aliyah, Xia Li, Carmella, Queen Zelina, Lita, Nikki Bella, Brie Bella, Mickie James, Kelly Kelly, Michelle McCool, and Summer Rae. Out of these 22 announced participants, Lita has the greatest chances of winning because the seeds have already been planted for her Rumble victory after she delivered a Twist of Fate to Charlotte on SmackDown and staked her claim for the title at Mania.

Prediction: Lita

Brock Lesnar (c) vs. Bobby Lashley [WWE Championship]

Brock Lesnar and Bobby Lashley are merely building up this match based on their MMA background and dream match appeal. They have the tools to beat the living hell out of each other in a potential bloodbath. However, it’s difficult to believe that this match will live up to the fans’ expectations. Firstly, Vince McMahon has a proclivity of ruining dream matches. Secondly, WWE is a PG show. Finally, Brock Lesnar has notably squashed Kofi Kingston and Ricochet in title matches within seconds in the past. Henceforth, it’s not too far fetched to foresee this being a squash as well.

Prediction: Brock Lesnar

Becky Lynch (c) vs. DouDrop [Raw Women’s Championship]

DouDrop is just a minor roadblock for Becky Lynch here. Lynch will win and walk into WrestleMania as the champ to defend the title against Bianca Belair. Belair should have never lost the title to Lynch in 26 seconds at SummerSlam, and she should redeem herself by winning back the title from Lynch at Mania. Although the hype behind this feud has slightly diminished, Lynch and Belair are the only two women to win their matches in the main event of WrestleMania. They have the credibility and pertinent storyline for a night 1 main event match at Mania that will hopefully last longer than 26 seconds.

Prediction: Becky Lynch

Roman Reigns (c) vs. Seth Rollins [Universal Championship]

Roman Reigns has never defeated Seth Rollins in one-on-one PPV title matches, so he will win here to counteract that track record. If Roman ever loses that title, it would be at Mania against either Brock Lesnar or Big E. Reigns and Rollins are merely building up this match based on their Shield history. They made that blatantly obvious with the Jon Moxley reference on SmackDown last week. Rollins was the architect of the Shield and he wants to destroy what he created, but he failed to realize that Reigns has evolved from the Big Dog into the Tribal Chief. The Big Dog lost to Rollins, but the Tribal Chief will win.

Prediction: Roman Reigns

Edge & Beth Phoenix vs. The Miz & Maryse [Mixed Tag Match]

Edge and Beth Phoenix need to win here, so that Edge can move on from this waste of a feud. This feud felt like a waste of time for three reasons: (1) it felt like 2010 all over again, (2) Edge contractually only has five matches per year and two of them were used on The Miz, and (3) it was merely a carbon copy of the CM Punk vs. MJF feud in AEW. Edge needs to battle a dream opponent like AJ Styles or Bobby Lashley at WrestleMania 38. A victory against either of those former WWE Champions would hopefully be a smooth transition for the Rated R Superstar into the title picture on the road to SummerSlam.

Prediction: Edge & Beth Phoenix

Men’s Royal Rumble [Over-The-Top Rope Battle Royal]

WWE already announced 22 participants for the Men’s Royal Rumble: Big E, Omos, AJ Styles, Kevin Owens, Damian Priest, Sheamus, Kofi Kingston, Austin Theory, Sami Zayn, Johnny Knoxville, Randy Orton, Riddle, Happy Corbin, Madcap Moss, Montez Ford, Angelo Dawkins, Dolph Ziggler, Robert Roode, Rey Mysterio, and Dominick Mysterio, Otis, and Chad Gable. Out of these 22 announced participants, Big E has the greatest chances of winning because he needs to either regain the WWE Title from Brock Lesnar or redeem himself from Survivor Series by dethroning Roman Reigns.

Prediction: Big E

I think doudrop will win as she looked strong, I agree with brock winning but not roman winning as Seth looks more strong on this path towards the rumble, I agree with the grit couple winning.

For the women’s rumble either Lita, Michell, Shotzi, Rhea, Liv or surprise

For the men’s rumble either Big E, Kevin, Damian or surprise

Great article, Mark! Not sure how I feel about Lita winning, but I can see it happening. Big E winning the Rumble would be the ideal outcome. What a story that would lead to for ‘Mania! And would seal him as a main event player even more than the title win!
