LA Knight cut a beautiful promo after beating Jimmy Uso at WWE event in Baltimore

WWE live events deserve more of a spotlight for a lot of the nuggets, highlights, and impassioned promos that take place during them.

The product is white-hot right now, and taht’s leading to packed houses and memorable moments even in the non-televised settings.

Take, for example, LA Knight’s promo in his hometown of Baltimore. Knight took on long-time Bloodline rival Jimmy Uso in a Baltimore Street Fight and defeated the legendary tag-team champion and current singles star.

After the match, Knight cut an impassioned promo on the Baltimore crowd, stating that he would one day win the WWE Championship while discussing his arduous path to getting to the big dance in WWE.

The main event of WrestleMania 40 is basically Cody Rhodes’ to lose, but the signing of CM Punk and the rise of LA Knight have made things a whole lot more interesting heading into Royal Rumble season.

Punk looks more likely to be Seth Rollins’ opponent for the other men’s world title in WWE, but Knight could still get his second big bout with Roman Reigns at the Show of Shows.

Cody has his story to finish, but Knight is a real darkhorse. As much as some doubters have latched on to the old-timers’ critiques of Knight as a one-dimensional flash in the pan, actual paying fans in the audience beg to differ.

Knight remains incredibly popular and has real staying power. It probably won’t be at WrestleMania 40, but the former TNA star is indeed ticketed for a run with the big one.

The man is money, and he is going to be a world champion one day, with or without the briefcase. Knight’s promo here only serves as a further example of his quality on the stick and his connection with the crowd. You can’t deny him or his destiny.
