CM Punk, Randy Orton, Jey Uso dominating WWE merchandise sales

WWE fans are always interested in seeing which wrestlers are currently moving the needle in the company and making waves from a business perspective. One way to do that is to monitor merchandise sales.

Although the best way to measure a wrestler’s impact on merch is to track their sales values over the course of an extended period of time, such as a year, a shorter time span can give a great indication into who is hot at the moment.

CM Punk and Randy Orton made massive splashes at Survivor Series with their returns. Orton’s was expected post-injury but incredible nonetheless, while Punk’s was a truly shocking moment, even for those who predicted the return.

So it comes as no surprise that the top 10 best-selling T-Shirts on the WWE Shop are dominated by these two. CM Punk’s return shirt is first, and his other shirt about hell freezing over is second. Meanwhile, Orton also has two entries in the top five.

Notice that there is one other wrestler with a T-Shirt in the top five is Jey Uso, who has been ridiculously over since turning his back on Roman Reigns and the Bloodline, taking his singles stardom to new heights.

In fact, Jey is the only wrestler with three shirts in the top 10, and he’s doing it despite not having the benefit of a recent move like a huge return at a Big 5 Pay Per View.

That goes to show you Jey is one of the big needle-movers in WWE right now, blossoming even more outside of the shadow of Reigns, though his initial feud with the Head of the Table in 2020 first put him on the map as a breakout singles star.

One of the best sights in wrestling is seeing someone like Jey break out to a new level later in their career. He has earned that recognition so much.

Finally, it is beautiful to see Bray Wyatt’s unyielding impact on wrestling fans and the industry as a whole.
