Cody Rhodes rejecting The Rock’s offer at Elimination Chamber was inevitable

We're in some interesting times in wrestling right now. We get a surprise announcement that The Rock was returning and making an appearance as "The Final Boss" on the February 21, 2025 episode of SmackDown. Rumors begin swirling all over social media that a match or two was being cut to make room for whatever big was going to happen. And then we get... this segment. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fWImFo9vHow I don't think I've seen a segment send so much of the internet wrestling community into... complete confusion as to what the f*ck is going on! I'm going to ignore the first part of that segment because it could've been an email. No shade. We'll focus on the second half for the sake of this article. The Rock wants Cody Rhodes to be his WWE Champion The Rock brings out ...

Why Gunther should stay Intercontinental Champion until WrestleMania 40

Let's all sip some coffee (or coffee alternative) and get the facts clear for a second, shall we? The Intercontinental Championship didn't exactly have the best championship reigns in the past couple of years. The pandemic definitely didn't help matters any. And yet, somehow, we're here. One night it ended up in the hands of Gunther (In my house, we call him Goontha! It's more Gangsta.) And the rest is history. No mane! Crown Jewel?...

Asuka winning the Elimination Chamber match was the right call, but how should WWE book her next?

You know, somewhere, there is an old saying. Everything happens for a reason. Maybe, that's the reason everything's happened the way it happened for Asuka. You see before Asuka got injured and sidelined for months, what was happening in Asuka's career? Nothing! Literally nothing was happening in her career. No real storylines. No real feuds. No real direction. Making matters worse, all of that has been continuous from the WWE virtually the entire time she's been on the main roster. In a way, that break Asuka got might end up being a blessing in disguise. Her return at the Royal Rumble was so beautiful. The pop, the mask, her performance, the transformation into her kana character, and definitely her performance. Wish she would've been in the rumble a little bit longer. Bu...

You are! So, you all know when news broke about Naomi & Sasha Banks walking out of WWE a couple of weeks back? Why? Why did they walk out? Somebody talk to me! How did we get here, humans? Hmm? Cause and effect, people! Cause and effect! What is it? Everybody do me a good favor and go to Dictionary.com for me. Ok? I'm telling you do this for a reason. Now type in "Cause ...
