WWE SmackDown Predictions are here for February 6, 2026, and Jade Cargill will bully Liv Morgan when she appears on her show for the road to WrestleMania. WWE is currently on the road to Elimination Chamber, which is the last pit stop before WrestleMania 42. The fans will have to wait and see what Elimination Chamber Qualifying Matches will be booked. Cody Rhodes will also have a lot to say after he was unceremoniously eliminated by Drew McInCrier in the Rumble.
This week on SmackDown, one match has been officially scheduled: Shinsuke Nakamura vs. Tama Tonga. It will be interesting to see if Giulia and Kiana James get their women’s tag title shot against Rhiyo that they earned after defeating Charlotte Flair and Alexa Bliss and Nia Jax and Lash Legend in a triple threat. Also, Carmelo Hayes ie expected to continue his U.S. Title Open Challenge. Without further ado, here are the official SmackDown Predictions for Feb 6, 2026.
Shinsuke Nakamura vs. Tama Tonga [Grudge Match]
Fans are talking about how disappointed they were with the fact that Bianca Belair did not return with her finger of doom at the Rumble. Instead of delivering an epic return, WWE has decided to book a match between Shinsuke Nakamura and Tama Tonga that nobody cares about. Despite the history they have with each other, there is no storyline to get the fans engaged. There are not even stakes to this match to make the winner of this match actually matter. It’s going to be a very long Friday night.
Nakamura is on a losing streak right now, as he is merely used as a “hand” to put talent over on the main roster. As a former decorated champion in WWE, it is sad that he has fallen from grace since he won the Rumble in 2018. Now, he is merely being fed to the Bloodline. Tama Tonga will win here to gain some momentum towards a future U.S. Title match against Carmelo Hayes. He was sniffing that title ever since Dragunov held it, so he will not hesitate to continue targeting that belt this year.
