Back when he called himself Eli Drake in TNA, LA Knight was known for his gift of gab and for turning any kind of promo or segment given to him by the company into absolute gold.
The way he carries himself and his artful deliveries have made the ridiculous name LA Knight, given to him by Vince McMahon in NXT, taken seriously by WWE fans.
At points in his still relatively early WWE career, Knight has been one of the most over wrestlers in the company, and despite all the stops and starts over the past few years, including infamously at the 2023 Money in the Bank Premium Live Event, he remains quite popular with fans.
In fact, as Knight and Bron Breakker begin to feud in 2026 on the road to WrestleMania after Knight eliminated the leader of The Vision at the Royal Rumble, the raucous support for the underdog babyface was palpable.
Every single WWE fan in the audience is rooting for Knight, who is starting to get a groundswell of support that even Triple H, notorious for playing favorites and seemingly sour on Knight, cannot ignore.
WWE fans, even after all the false booking advertisements and having the rug pulled from underneath them, still believe in LA Knight and still want to root for him, and in Breakker, WWE have found someone who can be the perfect foil for the face of Slim Jim.
It’s time for Knight to get the massive push that has been years in the making. The WWE audience is voting with its voice in favor of Knight, and, let’s face it, WWE really needs another strong babyface at this time.
