Honestly, ever since rumors of CM Punk's return to WWE first bubbled up in 2023, fans have been dreaming about a world title match between Punk and the then-undefeatable Roman Reigns. Even though Reigns finally dropped his Undisputed Championship Title to a very deserving opponent in Cody Rhodes at WrestleMania 40, the aura around Reigns has not subsided, while Punk's own magnetism has been stronger than ever.
