Liv Morgan isn’t the only prime candidate to win the Women’s Royal Rumble

The 2026 WWE Royal Rumble Premium Live Event is just weeks away on January 31, and although it does overall feel like there is an open field of contenders to win the Rumble matches, there are always a few options that stand out better than the others.

For the Women’s Royal Rumble match, Liv Morgan is widely tabbed as one of the favorites to win the bout. She has been a star in Rumble matches over the years with her endurance and creativity, and she has more than fulfilled the potential she showed in her early years of NXT and with the Riott Squad.

Morgan is now one of the biggest stars in professional wrestling with her ability to sell any story or any move in the ring, and she has really gotten over as a conniving heel that people respect and love to hate.

There is no doubt that Morgan would be one of the strongest options to win the Rumble, particularly because she and Stephanie Vaquer are already feuding and people fully expect the two rivals to clash at WrestleMania 42.

WWE are pushing Vaquer as the next big thing in WWE, and she has only met those sky high expectations with sterling in ring work. Morgan is almost the opposite character of the stern, hard working Vaquer, and that is what makes a rivalry work so well between them for the grand prize on Monday Night Raw.

But another tremendous pick to win the Royal Rumble, if she is back from an injury she suffered at WrestleMania 41, would be Bianca Belair, who has earned the moniker Mrs. WrestleMania for several five star classics and memorable matches at the Show of Shows.

Belair was involved in one of the best storylines in WWE alongside fellow major stars Naomi and Jade Cargill, and then she went on to have a Mania match for the ages against Rhea Ripley and Iyo Sky in a Triple Threat that even Dave Meltzer could not deny the full five stars.

The EST of WWE can easily return as a Royal Rumble winner and renew her feud with Cargill on the SmackDown brand. And if Cargill drops the title before then in a shocking maneuver, Belair has shown she can have a great match and rivalry with anyone in WWE.

Cargill vs. Belair makes too much sense, and WWE can’t go wrong with either Liv Morgan or Bianca Belair as a Royal Rumble winner. Both women are very different characters and styles of wrestlers, but they are equally elite.
