AEW Dynamite Predictions: Goldberg Will Confront MJF – Jan 7, 2026

AEW Dynamite is scheduled to take place on January 7, 2026, live on TBS Network, at the Bok Center in Tulsa, Oklahoma, and Goldberg will confront MJF to pursue one final match in AEW. MJF has constantly called out Goldberg, so this could get interesting. Without further ado, here are the official AEW Dynamite Predictions.

Jon Moxley (c) vs. Shelton Benjamin [Continental Classic Eliminator]

Jon Moxley already beat Josh Alexander. He’ll bury Shelton Benjamin too. It is peculiar that Moxley is a acting like a babyface champion when the rest of his cronies in the Death Riders are still heel and making Darby Allin’s life a living hell. The end goal should be Darby Allin, but it seems that AEW lost the narrative with that feud.

Either way, Allin should be the one to dethrone Moxley. That should have been for the AEW World Title, but it seems that AEW has shifted the goal post to the Continental Classic Title. Allin will get consolation prize booking instead of the top prize even though his feud with Moxley warranted the top prize in the company.

Prediction: Jon Moxley

“Timeless” Toni Storm vs. Marina Shafir [Exhibition Match]

Toni Storm has somehow found herself entrenched in the Death Riders storyline with Darby Allin. Now, she is feuding with Marina Shafir and will defeat her to regain some momentum since losing the World Title and losing her chance at the tag titles with Mina Shirakawa against the current champs, Babes of Wrath.

Prediction: “Timeless” Toni Storm

Bandido vs. Sammy Guevara [Exhibition Match]

Bandido is set to challenge MJF for the AEW World Title after winning the Dynamite Diamond Ring. He will merely get a momentum boost before that big title match by defeating Sammy Guevara, who wants revenge for his injured tag partners, RUSH and Beast Mortos, but will still used as a mere fodder in this contest.

Prediction: Bandido

Hangman Adam Page & Swerve Strickland vs. Hook & Powerhouse Hobbs [Lights Out Match]

Hangman Adam Page and Swerve Strickland had the most historic feud in AEW history, climaxing after Hangman burned down Swerve’s house. They have a really good story to become future tag team champions, especially due to their chemistry whether on the same side or opposite sides of the battlefield.

They are laser focused on MJF and that AEW World Title, so they need the momentum to get back in the title picture after losing at Worlds End in that fatal four way with Samoa Joe. They will defeat Joe’s cronies in the Opps, sparking a Samoa Joe return and a future number one contender’s match to determine who is next for MJF.

Prediction: Hangman Adam Page & Swerve Strickland

  • Jon Moxley (c) vs. Shelton Benjamin Continental Classi Eliminator
  • “Timeless” Toni Storm vs. Marina Shafir in an Exhibition Match
  • Bandido vs. Sammy Guevara in an Exhibition Match
  • Hangman Adam Page & Swerve Strickland vs. Hook & Hobbs in a Lights Out Tag Match
