Bayley vs. Lyra Valkyria [Personal Rivalry]
Lyra Valkyria will win this match to solidify her heel turn and nascent character transformation. Clearly, Bayley is on her way out the door to meet Mercedes Mone in AEW. Lyra can use this heel run to advance to the main event scene after already graduating from the mid card as a former InterContinental Champion.
Prediction: Lyra Valkyria
Danhausen vs. JD McDonagh [Personal Rivalry]
WWE is feeding jobbers to Danhausen. He has moved away from his feud with Miz and Kit Wilson to feuding with Judgment Day. The weakest link is JD McDonagh, so Danhausen will.bury him. It would be cool to see Enzo and Cass return to fend off Judgment Day, but Danhausen does not need them when he has Minihausen.
Prediction: Danhausen
Paige & Brie Bella (c) vs. Fatal Influence [Tag Titles]
Paige and Brie Bella have been subpar champions ever since winning the titles at WrestleMania. The drought needs to end, so let’s dampen this division with new champs. It’s better off that Jacy Jayne stays away from the main event scene and that Paige goes on a singles run while Nikki Bella returns and reunites with her sister.
Prediction: Fatal Influence
CM Punk & Cody Rhodes vs. Gunther & Sami Zayn [Tag Match]
CM Punk and Cody Rhodes should keep their momentum going for their SummerSlam main event by coexisting for one night. It’s baffling that WWE would even book Gunther and Sami Zayn to be on the same team when they had so many rivalrous issues in recent months. Their dissension is inevitable and will lead to their downfall.
