WWE Raw is scheduled to take place on Jan 12, 2026, live on Netflix, at the PSD Bank Dome in Düsseldorf, Germany, as part of WWE’s European tour leading to the Rumble and Gunther will retire AJ Styles in the main event. LA Knight is expected to return after the heinous parking lot attack by the Vision. Smiley Raquel will explain her actions after intentionally injuring Stephanie Vaquer. CM Punk will celebrate his title retention against Bron Breakker and address what’s next for his reign.
This week on Raw, two matches have been officially scheduled: Gunther vs. AJ Styles in the main event, and Penta and Dragon Lee vs. Bronson Reed and Austin Theory in a tag team match. Both matches have been built over the course of the past few weeks. If any women’s matches are announced, they will likely revolve around the women’s tag division, as Rhiyo is expected to open the show tonight. Without further ado, here are the official Raw Predictions for Jan 12, 2026.
Gunther vs. AJ Styles [Retirement Storyline]
AJ Styles said that he could retire any day this year. However, reports do show that his contract expires in February 2026, so he may be retiring sooner than fans think. Styles may not even make it to WrestleMania, and the fact that Gunther is already battling him in a one on one match right now says a lot since Gunther is now considered the new Legend Killer. Granted, Styles’ career should not end on a random Raw and this feud should stretch this out, but there really is no guarantee of that.
Prediction: Gunther
Penta & Dragon Lee vs. Bronson Reed & Austin Theory [Tag Match]
Rey Mysterio, Penta, and Dragon Lee have all had issues with the Vision recently, so they have teamed up to handle business. This match can go either way. Either the LWO wins to get their babyface comeuppance or Bronson Reed and Austin Theory win to continue their predomination on Raw as the top heel faction. The latter seems more likely, as WWE has a proclivity of not bothering to push the luchadores on the main roster and The Vision needs the momentum for their Mania program.
