AEW Winter is Coming 2025 Predictions: Samoa Joe Will Embarrass Eddie Kingston

AEW Winter Is Coming Dynamite 2025 is scheduled to take place on December 10, 2025, live on TBS Network, at Gateway Center Arena in Atlanta, GA. AEW Winter is Coming Collision 2025 is scheduled to take place on Saturday, December 13, live on TNT, at the Utilita Arena from Cardiff, Wales. There will likely be four-five matches booked for each of these episodes. The main features are the Continental Classic Tournament matches, the inaugural Women’s Tag Title Match, and the main event AEW World Title Match between Samoa Joe and Eddie Kingston. Without further ado, here are the official AEW Winter is Coming 2025 Predictions.

AEW Dynamite Winter Is Coming 2025 Predictions

Samoa Joe (c) vs. Eddie Kingston [AEW World Title]

Samoa Joe just won the title from Hangman Adam Page at Full Gear and has a “bigger picture” storyline with Page and Swerve Strickland as an AEW Dynasty callback on the road to Worlds End. Eddie Kingston is merely a stopgap for Joe, as he is a transitional champ who needs at least one retention before losing the title to an MJF cash-in at World End. Kingston feels befuddled by Hook helping Joe win at Full Gear, and Hook will interfere here to screw Kingston and show his allegiance to Joe.

Prediction: Samoa Joe

Babes of Wrath vs. Timeless Love Bombs [AEW Tag Titles]

Although Timeless Love Bombs are the betting favorites and have the credibility to add legitimacy to the titles, Babes of Wrath need the titles more. Storm already had enough spotlight in the title picture and could use a break. Although they have good chemistry, Storm and Shirakawa would be of better use in the main event scene and the mid card. Cameron and Nightingale already feel like a team due to matching gear and merged gimmicks and need a boost after failing multiple title shots

Prediction: Babes of Wrath

Hangman Adam Page & Swerve Strickland vs. The Opps [Tag Match]

Hangman Adam Page and Swerve Strickland have to coexist for one night after Hangman burned down Swerve’s house months ago. They should have teamed up against Young Bucks at All In for the bigger story, but AEW missed out on that opportunity. Nonetheless, Swerve and Page won’t lose here, as they need momentum for their inevitable triple threat AEW World Title Shot against Samoa Joe at AEW Worlds End and defeating Joe’s sidekicks is the best way to get that momentum.

Prediction: Hangman Adam Page & Swerve

Kyle Fletcher vs. Speedball Mike Bailey [Continental Classic Gold League]

Speedball Mike Bailey is merely a hot tag with Kevin Knight, so he is just a “hand” in this tournament and won’t be taking any big wins. Kyle Fletcher just lost the TNT title to Mark Briscoe at Full Gear, so he needs to regain momentum to leverage himself to the main event scene for the foreseeable future. He is a favorite to win the entire tournament and become the biggest threat to Kazuchika Okada’s title reign on the gold side of the tournament.

Prediction: Kyle Fletcher

“Jungle Boy” Jack Perry vs. Kazuchika Okada [Continental Classic Gold League]

“Jungle Boy” Jack Perry should win this match because Kazuchika Okada has been a boring champion and his title reign has run its course. Jungle Boy had a great “cry me a river” gimmick and then lost all of his momentum over time. As one of the pillars of AEW, he needs his mojo back and a big win over Okada would do wonders for his run in this tournament.

Prediction: “Jungle Boy” Jack Perry”

AEW Collision Winter Is Coming 2025 Predictions

Mark Briscoe (c) vs. Daniel Garcia [AEW TNT Title]

Mark Briscoe just won the TNT Title from Kyle Fletcher, so it would be baffling if he lost his first title defense. Also, Danial Garcia had an awfully boring reign as TNT Champion, so it would be wise to not revisit that.

Prediction: Mark Briscoe

Kris Statlander & Jamie Hayter vs. Sisters of Sin [Tag Match]

Thekla could get involved here, but Statlander and Hayter are the bigger stars and will get the win. Although Sisters of Sin are the legitimate team here, Statlander and Hayter have to keep their momentum going for their inevitable AEW World Title Match.

Prediction: Kris Statlander & Jamie Hayter

FTR (c) vs. Bang Bang Gang [AEW Tag Titles]

FTR just won the tag titles from Brodido, so they should retain in their first title defense. Bang Bang Gang earned this title shot by defeating FTR two weeks before FTR battled Brodido for the Tag Titles at Full Gear. The history of 50:50 booking indicates an FTR title retention.

Prediction: FTR

Swerve Strickland vs. Josh Alexander [Exhibition Match]

Swerve Stricklend has issues with the Don Callis Family and will defeat Josh Alexander to get them out of his hair so that his head remains clear for his AEW World Title Match against Samoa Joe and Hangman. His big return at Full Gear will lead to a plethora of victories on the road to Worlds End.

Prediction: Swerve Strickland

Orange Cassidy vs. Konosuke Takeshita [Continental Classic Blue League]

Orange Cassidy and Konosuke Takeshita will probably steal the show with their bout. They have yet to battle in the Continental Classic, so they will likely battle each other. Cassidy is the best choice to win, as he is a major draw for AEW and should get a title around his waist sooner rather than later.

Prediction: Orange Cassidy
