This Sunday at AEW Revolution, FTR will put up their World Tag Team Championships against the Young Bucks. The champions are currently in their third run with these titles, following their win over BRODIDO last November at Full Gear. The Bucks are the only tag team in AEW to have held the tag titles three times. Neither team has won the titles from the other.
Here are three reasons why the Young Bucks should become 4-time tag team champions.

1) Redemption
Just days after FTR won the titles for the third time, the Brothers Jackson helped Kenny Omega and Jurassic Express defeat the Don Callis Family, also at Full Gear. Following the match, Omega embraced his best friends.
In the weeks leading up to that, we saw seeds of a babyface turn. Prior to that, they’d been the Broke Bucks and were down on their luck. They won a money match and Nick blew all of their money. They tried to turn their luck around, only to lose multiple money matches. Once the Bucks saw the light, they went on an apology tour to people they had been jerks to, including AEW staff. They also set their sights on becoming tag team champions once again. Last month, they defeated The Rascalz and a returning Private Party to earn a Number One contendership match against FTR.
2) Revenge
Maybe it seems odd that a baby face tag team would be looking for revenge so soon after trying to redeem themselves. But then, FTR did something so brutal, that it warrants getting even. During a Title Eliminator match against The Rascalz, Cash Wheeler attacked Myron Reed, who was ringside. The Bucks came down to help Reed. The distraction allowed The Rascalz to get the win.
While celebrating with the Bucks, The Demand attacked them from behind. The champs took drastic measures with the Jackson family sitting in the front row. Dax Harwood shoved Papa Buck while Wheeler did the same to Mama Buck. They turned their sights on the Bucks’ brother, Malachi and dragged him over the barricade into the ring. GOA held the Bucks in place in the ring and Ricochet hit Jack Perry with the Spirit Gun to keep him from helping. While the Bucks watched in horror, FTR hit Malachi with a pile driver.

3) The Young Bucks can make history
With the match taking place at the Crypto.com Arena in L.A., the Bucks will be in their own backyard. It would be even more satisfying to become the first ever 4-time tag team champs in front of their hometown crowd, getting revenge on FTR, and completing their redemption journey. This is the perfect time and story for the Bucks to get a historic win in an already epic career.
Should Adam Copeland and Christian return in the coming months, it could potentially set up the dream match between two of the greatest tag teams of their generations. There’s no better place to have this epic showdown than one of the biggest shows of the year, ALL IN at Wembley.
